The Clinical Research Unit (Klinforsk) was established in 2019 and consists of staff previously employed at the Applied Clinical Research Unit at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (NTNU) and from the Research Support Office from St Olavs Hospital. 

Klinforsk offers research support to researchers at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at NTNU and the Central Norway Regional Health Authority.  We can provide help in all phases of clinical studies.  With close ties to both the hospital and university, we have unique set of competencies and composition: the unit employs both research advisors who are academic staff and who conduct their own research and teaching, as well as research advisors with particularly expertise in medical health sciences and clinical trials.
